This includes front-end engineering, conceptual design, detailed design, value engineering, and site development plans; to construction plans, supplemental engineering, and design modifications or retrofits.

Construction
Building biofuel plants requires a team with a depth of resources for safe and cost-effective construction. Over the past 20 years, the TtEC staff has executed more than $25 billion in engineering and construction services, including more than $5 billion from energy plant construction. TtEC is an industry leader in safety performance with more than six million hours without a lost workday in the past two years. We have the depth of resources to provide an array of contracting strategies per client preferences and project needs.

Our construction approach has enhanced safety and quality results for our clients. We have reduced cost, schedule, equipment, and manpower requirements, by applying the basic principles of value engineering and constructability reviews. TtEC is unique in the industry because we can support the project development process from the start and successfully minimize environmental impacts associated with construction, such as impacts to wetlands and owner land use. Contracting strategies include the following:
