Melton Valley Transuranic (TRU)/Alpha Waste Treatment Facility at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory

TtEC was responsible for the design, construction, and operation of a facility to treat and package contact- and remote-handled transuranic (TRU) and low-level waste (LLW) including waste retrieved from underground storage tanks.

The project team worked in excess of 1,300 days without a lost time injury and in excess of 900 days without a recordable injury.

We accelerated the permitting and licensing process allowing the client to obtain approval to proceed five months ahead of schedule.
